Haruki Kawakatsu is hit by a truck…except he doesn’t die. He discovers his healing and newfound superpowers are both due to an otherworldly power known as the Spirit of Fire. He discovers that superheroes, once thought only to be a myth, are real. Now drawn into an international game of one-upsmanship, with nations measuring each other’s capabilities with superhuman shenanigans, he must not only represent Japan, but also deal with rogue gods and ancient myths.
